God, when all else comes crashing down in and upon me, when dreams shatter at the slightest touch, when high visions vanish like a mist, when circumstances are more than just not ideal, but downright antagonistic and cruel, may my hope be found in You and You alone, in Your faithfulness, in Your tender fidelities, in Your loving kindnesses and in the truth of Your Word. When You said that hope was one of the three things that will remain forever, I see that it is also one of the first things the enemy would want to dismantle and destroy. Give me a vision of hope, a solid knowing and expectation of a good future from Your hand. May the reason You created me not only be seen clearly in reality, but may it also seem reasonable, inevitable and exciting to me even now. Forever I will experience new dimensions of hope. Though I will be with You where You are, seeing You as You are, I will have the full understanding of the unending nature of Your glory and character. I will have gratefulness for eternity for what I currently have but I will also have an eternal hope that You have more, then more, then after that, more and more and more for me into the ages to come. Reveal the beauty of the hope that only You can give, the hope that does not disappoint, in Jesus’ mighty and all-sufficient name AMEN
