Day 21 – God is my Advocate

Heavenly Father, You have made a way for me. When the world is against me, when even my own thoughts, are against me, You stand up for me. You advocate for me as my Defense Lawyer against the accusations of the enemy. While Satan traffics in the law, You traffic in grace and forgiveness as I bring my sins out into the light through repentance. Jesus, You ever live to make intercession for me before the throne of the Father, asking for the fullness of Your plans to be accomplished in me and that nothing will cut them short. Holy Spirit, You even make intercession through me according to the will of God for my own life. Thank You, Yahweh, Father and Giver of Life, that You love to extend grace and forgiveness, You delight in mercy and second chances. Reveal, expose and tear down the accusations in my mind against You, that You are somehow against me even though I’ve been washed by the Blood of Your Son. If you are for me, WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME? Make me more aware of the intercession that You are making for me even now and help me to not take Your grace in vain to live a holy life, to love You and others, according to what is pleasing in Your sight, in Jesus’ name AMEN

Romans 8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
