Song of Solomon 3:9
I.
Riding on the golden palanquin,
we are carried on winding trail
to the wedding feast of the King—
the culmination of history approaches.
This chariot of royal romance,
supernaturally protected by trained men of valor
resting their swords upon their thighs,
carries the ever search of passion
through the fallen wilderness.
Paved roads of adoration
guide spirit beings to the fulfilling pleasure
of being intimately known and enjoyed.
Breaking through all barricades,
love charges ahead in reckless abandon,
committed to arriving on timing perfect,
and sending out invitations all along
to all friends, to all loved ones, to all!
The knowledge of divine delight.
O what adventure! O what blissful pursuit!
The maidens run after us,
excited to play even a minor part
in the greatest ecstasy story
human ears have ever hearkened.
The Good Word spreads from heart to heart
like a flowing river through parched land,
like a light through darkened woods.
Every soul lies in anxious wait
to receive their summons~
“Leave your dwelling place!
Join us in the parade of delight!
For today, the King shall wed
His beloved! Come! You are invited!”
However, they are left unbalanced,
unfulfilled, and disappointed
in the fleeting excitement;
for the message in entirety has been kept
Holy mystery.
To play only a part, to be only observers
pains the beatings of their wounded hearts.
O the longing to be the object of attention themselves!
O to be the one that the King so desires!
O for the satisfaction of experiencing fulfilling love!
II.
The time has now matured.
The completed message is sent
dripping like honey onto hungry burnt hearts,
infusing life into withered spirits of all flesh.
They drink deeply to fulfillment.
A crown has been brought to you,
and imperially sealed letter:
“I am waiting for you, My Beloved, My Bride.
The time has come for Us to be wed!”
