Future-focused eyes
see not an acorn,
but a an entire forest
encapsulated by time.
Each begotten by lives,
and lives by Life,
and Life by the Living.
Future-focused eyes
see not a race,
but an entire civilization
walking and breathing,
but inside lifeless.
Each begotten by Love,
and Love by Life,
and Life by the Living.
There is a Well
of Living Water.
Go, and drink.
Yes, drink deeply.
There is Bread
that gives Life.
Go, and eat.
Yes, eat well
ere we become unawares
of ourselves; that we are
already dead.
