A psychological thought train
Is tracked as tightly on the trail
of traumad fowl as the nose
of a hunting dog, for long enough
to kindle another to start in on one
of their own so you gleefully hop
and skip like a springtime second
grade girl to a topic and process
that closely resembles the pattern
put forth by the protruding purple gophers
in that smashingly fun Chuck-E-Cheese game.
