What makes nature so pleasing?
I say it’s its fullness,
Where the presence of peace
Makes it function as whole.
What makes nature so beautiful?
I say it’s its randomness,
Where phlox of robins
Land in water.
What makes nature so complex?
I say it’s its cycles,
Where life and death dance
To the same tune of time ticking.
What makes nature so simple?
I say it’s its selflessness,
Where for our enjoyment everyday,
It puts itself on center stage display.
